Emergency Housing

Family support is vital for the survival of burn patients in intensive care. To enable family members who reside outside the Seattle area to care for their loved ones, the Northwest Burn Foundation provides two fully-furnished apartments free of charge. These apartments are located a block away from the Burn Unit at Harborview Medical Center. Families from all over the Northwest are grateful for these safe, temporary "homes." Approximately 50 families use these apartments each year.

 

  Emergency Housing Program Goals
